Social media & photo ads with a targeted advertising campaign

Phase 1: Briefing

For Lehmann Natur, we were commissioned to produce video ads and photo ads in addition to a performance advertising campaign for Instagram and Facebook. Since Lehmann is committed to organic farming and sustainability with its organic seeds, the company was a perfect fit for our own goals and ideals. Lehmann Natur produces organic seeds that are pure in variety. This means that the seeds are not artificially genetically modified, unlike many other products on the market, and can therefore be sown again and again.

Phase 2: Conception

For this project, we decided to design two social media ads and five photo ads for the various target groups. The first step was to work with our client to develop and define the target group and message for the five ads.

Phase 3: Production

Based on the customer's existing image, we opted for a cut-out photo collage style to give the campaign a suitable recognition value. Above all, the overall image should appear natural, modern and fresh. To achieve this, we had to research a series of stock photos on the themes of gardening with the family, sowing seeds and nature. The aim was to find image material that was as authentic and emotionally appealing as possible. Using the source material, our designer Olivia then created the main scenes, which were agreed upon with the customer in three rounds of corrections. Our animation designer Mark then set these scenes in motion. Finally, they were accompanied by appropriate music and sounds. Based on the style of the video ad, we also created five photo ads.

Phase 4: Marketing

Once the ads had been approved, we launched the video and photo ads on Instagram and Facebook. A plan was drawn up in collaboration with our performance manager, based on predefined criteria and budgets. The social media campaign reached a total of around 500,000 users in just under four weeks. Sales in Lehmanns Biosaaten's online shop were boosted by the ad campaign. In addition, we succeeded in creating sustainable awareness for the brand, or "awareness" in social media language.
