What are the individual production steps for producing social media content?

Production begins with a comprehensive analysis of your target group and the development of a customised social media strategy. This is followed by planning and conception, including the creation of a content plan, a shooting plan and the graphic design of the content. After that, the content is shot and then it's on to post-production, where the content is selected, cropped to the appropriate image format, optimised and prepared for publication on the respective platforms.

How long does it take to produce social media content?

The production is often faster than for traditionally produced films and takes about two to four weeks, depending on the scope. We can produce smaller formats such as reels or stories even faster for you if needed.

How long is social media content?

Depending on the platform, social media videos are between 15 seconds and five minutes long and are provided in different formats (e.g. in the image formats 9:16 or 4:5 vertical video).

How are environmental considerations incorporated into the production of my social media content?

We consider environmental aspects from the planning stage onwards and incorporate them into decisions about mobility, technology, energy, catering and production workflows. For our productions, we consistently use electric mobility as well as rail and public transport, work with LED lighting technology and use certified green electricity. Catering on set is vegetarian or vegan.

Our Green Film Consultant supports the production planning and helps us assess the environmental impact of the production. We also calculate the carbon footprint of every production, allowing us to document the CO₂ emissions associated with your social media production.

How much does social media content cost?

The costs depend heavily on the format and the amount of content. A single social media video starts at €1,000 net, while larger content packages cost several thousand euros. Producing as much content as possible in one day of shooting is much more time and cost efficient than shooting a single video per day of shooting. We would be happy to provide you with an offer that fits your budget.

How can I verify how environmental aspects are considered in the production?

Transparency is an important part of our production process. Our Green Film Consultant supports the environmental planning and carbon footprint assessment of our productions. For larger productions, we prepare both an initial carbon footprint estimate and a final carbon footprint assessment; for smaller productions, we prepare at least a final assessment.

This allows us to document the CO₂ emissions associated with each production and to identify relevant sources of emissions. The final carbon footprint assessment provides a transparent overview of the emissions generated during the production.
